You are right, money could be part of it, but i don't think that it's the only motive or drive for this kind of amhara hatered, I believe deep down abebew had always hated amhara ppl or even probably he loved an amhara woman back when he was young but she turned him down or maybe his mother was galla and her amhara boss abused her or something like this
