This guy is narcissist. It surprises me that people follow and advocate for him (such as whorus,ddt..etc). Look at the skies of Addis Abeba. He saw this in China and demanded to buy and bring it in Ethiopia only to display himself. I used to get sick seeing Mengistu's and Meles photograph in the organizations i used to work back in the days. Look at the beshasha boy. This is in addition to the $10 billion he is spending for his luxurious palace, not counting the countless lodges and corridors he wasted public money on.

I am really ashamed. He is imprisoning health professionals for exposing his incompetence and failure of management of the country while he is busy with show and self-promotion in alliance with an Arab mafia small country called UAE. He is just like a kid playing with his new fancy toys. Sudan and Ethiopia are stateless countries played by UAE oligarchs and patriarchs.

Shame on the people who prop up him including the military officers and cabinet ministers.

If he gets more time in office, he is going to grow more dictatorial like Edi amin Dada. We have not yet seen the God send King part of the show. I pray the days are short to decrease public suffering. He is not listening and won't listen anybody unless people do something. On one occasion he said, he is the one to command anything to happen or not in the country.

Unless something comes from his will, he thinks, the protesting physicians are doomed and will not get proper answer. I hope the people rise to oppose harassment and abuse of their children by this failed system.

OPDO old guard is reading the writing on the wall, and they are looking for a replacement of Abiy but it’s probably too late. Abiy has turned ALL of former allies against OPDO, leading to loss of confidence by the rank and file. Even MDs have had it and are calling for nationwide protest to shut OPDO down.

The perception of OPDO extravagance and this DRONE Air show came at the worst possible time, immediately following nationwide protest in response to crippling economic condition even for households with MDs.

You can’t keep on keeping on squeezing the private sector and civil servants just to keep your millions of cadres happy and spend billions in image building. At some point, there comes a reckoning. It’s inevitable.
