Re: I want to obtain Eritrean citizenship
Sheikh Google is saying that "Eritrea does not allow dual citizenship. If an Eritrean citizen obtains citizenship in another country, they may need to renounce their Eritrean citizenship."
Yet many Eritreans abroad travel to Eritrea on the passport of their current country of residence - provided I'm not wrong!
Is Sheikh Google wrong?

Re: I want to obtain Eritrean citizenship
It's possible that Eritrea's constitution does not recognise dual citizenship, but that this is not enforced, as the constitution itself has been ratified but not implemented to date. Therefore, I think Sheikh Google was just communicating what's in the constitution.
Re: I want to obtain Eritrean citizenship
If you agree to pay 10% - 25 % of the yearly wage you make in abroad as a refugee, Isaias will be happy to issue you an ID card. You will have to be a nice remittance cash cow to be milked for those in the Sawa elderly home. But, you are funny
We know you are from Eritrea.

Re: I want to obtain Eritrean citizenship
Why do you want to renounce your Tigray citizenship that had cost you virtual blood, sweat and tears to achieve?

Re: I want to obtain Eritrean citizenship
Eritrea is not my ideal country due to its weather.
If I live in Africa, I want to live in a warm country all year round.
Rwanda and Burundi have my ideal weather, even though there's no way I can live in Bujumbura, as it's mosquito heaven. So far, I've been to about 60 countries across the world and I haven't seen a country where there's a higher mosquito population than in Burundi. In Burundi, mosquitoes are everywhere, including in nightclubs. You can't sit somewhere peacefully without being hassled by bloody mosquitoes, and I'm talking about during the day!
Although I'm not in Burundi, trust me, I've just killed two mosquitoes flying across my PC monitor back and forth.

Re: I want to obtain Eritrean citizenship
You don't need the Eritrean passport to do business there. You may even incur more taxes as a citizen rather than a foreign business. Also consult Ethiopia if they can allow you to have Eritrean passport while having Ethiopian passport.Zack wrote: ↑14 May 2025, 14:05Welll apart from my medical back ground profession I am a business man I believe Eritrea had potential in the future I am in logistics and also in some other sort of markets . Even after Isayas, businesses there local or foreign owned will not be profitable. The infrstractures such the telecom, roads, postal services, ports are at primitively forbidding for any business to thrive. The business laws will take decades to update. The human resource is at its lowest as there are no commerce, technical or university education.
Be a business man or learn to be one. Look for growth projections. Avoid risks and losses.

Having experienced severe depopulation for the last three decades, they definitely need more of you. Getcho said the actual current population size is around two million. Well, yet they bit him badly in his criminal arse.

it's impossible to avoid or eliminate risk when investing. Risk is intrinsic to investment. All investments, regardless of their nature, carry some degree of risk, as investment decisions are based on predictions about the future and the future is inherently uncertain or not guaranteed.Avoid risks and losses.
Recommendation: Manage and mitigate risk through careful planning, and diversification if possible.
Although avoiding losses is a natural desire or hope for all investors, it's not always achievable due to the fact that investment per se is inherently risky, as it's bound by uncertainty, and thus is prone to financial losses.
Recommendation: Minimise losses by reducing the potential for serious or significant financial losses through strategies.
