The essence of TPLF’s objective is its hatred of the people of Amhara. This was true in 1974 when it started its armed struggle, and was true when it ruled the country between 1991 and 2018, and is still true now after it is purged out of power. It wants to oust Abiy with a fervent desire to regain the power it once enjoyed, regain control of Amhara lands it lost, and resume the Amhara Genocide it started from where Abiy will leave it. This is its spoken and written dogma it never renounced. It firmly believes the constitution it imposed on the nation is as immutable as the laws of nature. Notably, it has greater hatred for anything Amhara than for anything Abiy. Its love-and-hate relationship with Abiy and his party is never disguised. Even after its ouster, it has been working with Abiy every now and then.
Fano’s strategic and political objectives are to stop the Amhara genocide, restore all the human and civil rights of the Amhara people, and work for an Ethiopia in which all its people live in equality, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness under the law. This requires defeating the current regime, rectifying the false narrative that postulates Amhara are the enemy of all the so-called nations and nationalities, bringing all those responsible for the Amhara genocide to justice, compensating the victims, and rewriting the apartheid constitution. Is this objective close to that of TPLF?

Re: The essence of TPLF’s objective is its hatred of the people of Amhara
From its inception to date, TPLF indoctrinates and brainwashes its members with Amhara hate, and the superiority of the Tigray ethnic group. Taking out the hate and the superiority indoctrination will leave TPLF empty and irrelevant. As a result, each TPLF fighter hates no one as he hates an Amhara. If he finds an Abiy soldier of any other ethnicity other than Amhara and an Amhara Fano side by side, he will kill the Amhara Fano first and take the other guy prisoner of war.
Re: The essence of TPLF’s objective is its hatred of the people of Amhara
Sometimes people may say Tigrians have historical rivalry for power with Amhara people, and the hate emanates from that. But inf act what we see, and what we saw in the past more than half a century is/was worse than that. Even after they succeeded to usurp power, they deliberately made sure to hate and destroy or weaken anything reminiscent of Amhara ethnics. They deliberately played down the Amhara population statistics. They undid the fabric of the country. Meles Zenawi saw Ethiopia as his burden left over on his shoulder by Amhara Ethnic and all he cared about (as he said it was) was the Golden tribe of Tigray (he made sure all government positions are filled by them and looted everything, NGOs and investers were told to go to Tigray with the excuse it was war hurt region!). Remember their number even does not notch to 10 million to be that important and according to Colonel Mengistu the Tigrai region did not contribute much significant to the country's economy. They declared Addis Ababa as Oromo property even after knowing it is a cosmopolitan city of all Ethiopians and international citizens. They did it hoping to consolidate power by making Oromo their servant and revenge Amhara by seeing chased out of Addis Ababa as we saw in the previous many years.
See the haters on this forum from Tigray region the likes of Axumkizenam, halafileflafi...etc. Their hate for Amhara, hence Fano. You know cows and
other animals were killed because they were Amhara owned. Health facilities, schools were burned and looted because they were akhara property. Worse of all they killed people and with the blood they wrote evil words on the wall of houses. That can not be forgotten and easily forgiven up until properly addressed through legal or whatever appropriate channels. Still, they keep saying the were genocided covering their evil act in micadra and Bedeno. The statue of cut breast in Oromo region was a deliberate work which incited false narrative, Amhara hate and genocide which in fact is causing the current ethnic cleansing. Now they want back wolqait as a ransom of their final gain from the 30 years of their looting and theft that ended up in eventual destruction. Wolqait is a large swath of fertile land no body would like to offer in a plate to a hater for free
Let alone in Amharah, Tigrians everywhere in the country should be treated as bandits, abusers, thieves, looters, terrorist... whatever there is up until they show the right behavior of a citizen and shear civility. They should NEVER BE TRUSTED FOR ONE CENTURY. There is nothing like Tigray is a brother of Amhara, until proven otherwise. Unless they come halfway for reconciliation, at least, how do you go halfway with olive branch to meet them?

Nothing good from Tigray will develop as far as the demons Debresiol, the spy master Getachew Assefa, the leftover traditional generals (terrorist and gold smugglers), Fetlework et al and other TPLF criminals are still roaming in peace in chigray. These are not only national but international criminals. The incompetent in 4Killo is even letting them to arm themselves with anti-drone and in todays news it was reported flights to Tigray carrying questionable toursit have been banned. TPLF if planning direct invasion of Wolqait per the news circulating today. Also we are informed HEGDEF wants rapprochement with TPLF through the new mantra Ximdom. This is the time in Ethiopian history no specific region or agent could be trusted

The ferenjis won't pay them unless they show hate for Amara, period
አራት ነጥብ
Obviously, by now everyone knows tplf is all about money. They don't care about agames. If you don't know that by now you a stupid
Tplfs are not even Tigray
So the Ferenjis make sure you do what they pay you for. To control Ethiopia or to own Ethiopia they must first defeat Amara! Period
Then they will go around and f'ock everybody else
including Eritreans of course

Of course it is racist. It's ethnocentric. But is it wrong?Za-Ilmaknun wrote: ↑12 May 2025, 15:25The essence of TPLF’s objective is its hatred of the people of Amhara. If you want to usurp power from a governing political party, all members of that target party are considered enemies of this party that is trying to oust the governing party because it draws its support from its members and supporters affiliated with the members.
If, however, the backbone of the governing party comes from the support of a tribe, they are considered supporters of the tribal government; therefore targets of the aspiring party that is working to topple the governing party.
The question for tplf to answer is whether the Mengistu Junta and the Haile Sellasie Solomonic Dynasty were governments whose support largely came from Amara. I would like to read their literature on this. Please post if you have it.
