I have just googled and found out that the Brits entered the Second World War against the Nazis on September 3, 1939.

This means that in terms of rising against fascism, Ethiopia was ahead of the Brits by about four years.

Do you know of peasants like him in some country in Europe who picked up arms on their own volitions during that world war that was started by fascists?

I am not negating the fact that some Ethiopians fought for their country (Eritreans fought for theirs too and were forced to spend decades in dungeons), but had Britain not intervened for- their own political advantage of course- Ethiopians alone would never have been able to dislodge the Italians. Infact, HS fled to England.

My response there, that you copied, was a response to those who always raise up the Italian colonization of my country to degrade my people. As if, the whole of Africa and most of Asia was not colonized.
