This the bird I was talking about some time ago. It is an endemic bird to Abyssinian highlands and very common in Gurage region. They fend in Enset field (Jagar). The white shouldered Wattled Ibis (Guragigna: "Aya" at least in Enor). They gather at night in common nest, they play. And locals joke, when the birds meet at night, they seem to be talking to one another, and they say they are planning what to do tomorrow. a letter to Clown PM Abiy Ahmed by Gurage Intellectuals Association, 2019 or 2020, about the Gurage Region demand.
I read it, no doubt understood it.The gist, the spirit of the letter, the message of the letter was:no worries and no hurries. You are already too busy about more important Ethiopian matters.
Gurage needs the region but Gurage is Ethiopian, ethnic nationalism is aliegn to our culture.

That is how Gurage PPs including Whorlus sabotage Gurage dreams for equal treatmrnt with other ethnic groups of Ethiopia.

Disappointed and am not optimistic in the Gurage political future unless they really become shrewed and start to think interms of long term gain! I believe Gurage is too apolitical and that is destroying it. In half to one century all gurage will become መስመስ. Means extinct. Diaspora gurage children won’t even remember Gurage or Guragigna and will well assimilate to the society they live in their birth country.

ጉራጌ ከመሸ በኋላ እናንተን መሰል እንከፎች ወለደች እንጂ ታላቅ ሕዝብ ነበር! ደሞ ተመልሶ ታላቅ ሕዝብ ይሆናል!

የዛሬ ጉራጌ ግን ያባቶቹንም ታሪክ አያውቅ እራሱም ታሪክ አይሰራ!

ጉራጌ አንድነት መፍጠር የሚፈልጉ በያገራቸው ያሉ ባሊቆችን የመላ ጉራጌ የጎጎት ጉባኤ እንዲጠራ መስራት ነው ያለባቸው።
