I feel much more comfortable on these new electric buses. Before, I wasn’t interested in riding public buses, but now I find them pleasant—I’ve tried them many times and am fully satisfied. I wish we had 1,000 such buses in the city; that would make our transportation problems a thing of the past. If I’m not mistaken, these new electric buses are assembled by the Belayneh Kinde Group.Kudos to Belayneh Kinde.

I doubt even if 1000 such buses make “ the transportation problem a thing of the past.” Addis is growing, and will keep grow, so does the demand for an affordable public transportation. It is a good start. I do believe spending money on public transportation, especially that is environmentally friendly, is a wise move. I hope the government keeps doing it.
