Interviewing them is to gauge where they are and stand, not to win them to anything.
Plus, Eritrea's stand (especially the gov't's) has always been to differentiate between the TPLF and the people. In his interviews, PIA has always stated, the policies of the TPLF hurt the tigray people the most.
