The headlines of stories around the world are about the young leader who came to power through a coup—the youngest leader of Burkina Faso. Nowadays, I can say everybody knows about him. I couldn’t list all his accomplishments here, but the question is: why did Isaias Afwerki fail to achieve the same as Traoré?
There are many similarities between them. For example, both are strong opponents of Western domination. The difference, however, is that Traoré is putting his country on the map, while Isaias’s Eritrea remains stagnant.
Re: Why did Isaias Afwerki fail to be like Ibrahim Traoré of Burkina Faso?
To begin with, it was only Woyane that said Eritrea is a country, while it in fact is not and will never be a country. It will never stand even on a foot for it has no the natural means to be so.
It was not that fact that Isaias Afework did not aspire to change it into Singapore of Africa, but Eritrea has no the necessary ingredients naturally to make the juice that tastes like a country. God created Eritrea to be one of the provinces of Ethiopia.
For being a total failure, the full-time job is there fore to be gangster, mafia, envy.

We Eritreans cringe at the thought of seeking fame, attention and validation from the outside world, because the Eritrean culture of humility is a virtue we take so much pride in.
But we understand the Feudal mindset prevalent among many Ethiopians cannot comprehend the Eritrean collective way of life.
For instance, when President Isaias Afewerki declined the Nobel Prize Award, many Ethiopians thought he was crazy, but we Eritreans understood and applauded him for his humbleness in displaying the Eritrean spirit of peacefulness that does not need any validation.

You are just such a mindless troll
If he were such type of personality, why has been a life-time "president" of a pariah land?

Its to early to say though traoure wants to keep his country free of foreign influence in particular France which is good how ever how will it develop in the past . The Eritrean dictator is more relic of the past . I think he might have had some good ideas in his first decade rule

Seriously ? Shabia/ lsayas is not against West, just rhetoric. They would’ve brought him down if that was true, they know Isayas is not only a threat to the West, he helped them to weaken Ethiopia. Are you kidding? He was not happy when West gave more attention to Meles than Isayas.Abaymado wrote: ↑28 Apr 2025, 12:33The headlines of stories around the world are about the young leader who came to power through a coup—the youngest leader of Burkina Faso. Traore may not survive, he is too much of threat for the West. When ever populations idealise their African leader, trouble rises.
