Djibouti has water, Djibouti has food, Djibouti has everything except “Khat”, War-torn landlocked Ethiopia needs Djibouti more than Djibouti needs war-torn landlocked Ethiopia, Get that through your head.

Camel sniffer abyssilady aka dirty desert camel herder, it did not matter what you have or not have in Dj-b00ty. The problem is you did not find a a strong central authority to teach ya all a lesson. That is the problem. Your ar$e should not have been allowed to behave like this. Infact Red Sea access should have been through the bloody port through economic integration agreement or whatever deal by whatever modality. If your refuse to cooperate then we could have chance to see your food, water, electricity and money for your coffers you have being used.AbyssiniaLady wrote: ↑27 Apr 2025, 17:24Djibouti has water, Djibouti has food, Djibouti has everything except “Khat”, War-torn landlocked Ethiopia needs Djibouti more than Djibouti needs war-torn landlocked Ethiopia, Get that through your head.

When Djibouti extended an exclusive port deal a few months ago, Ethiopia rolled its eyes and walked away; thinking the offer is "out of desperation."
Djibouti, however, signed what's termed as "port connectivity deal" with Egypt last week.
Now scared, Ethiopia is knocking at the door for a second chance, but that ship sailed long ago ... and isn’t coming back.

Some idiots are running around with this video without understanding what he saying, War-torn landlocked Ethiopia is already using Tadjoura port, By the way, his words were taken out of context.

Replacing Djibouti with Abay River is a blessing for both the Nile crocodiles and their favorite prey.

Egypt fuming about Suez Canal concern!
Its free handouts may be at jeopardy. Egypt lives on donations of US and Arab neighbors.

--- First, as usual folks from Eritrea province are bothered too much more than anyone in this forum. No surprising at all - like the fallen angels they desperately want others to accompany their hellish lives. Eritrea a totally destroyed, reduced to irrelevance and a totaled province. The miscarriage of Arabs and the West - a truly failed story.
--- Second, for a direct question deserves a direct answer. There is nothing like a simplified answer like this: a) Ethiopia has options to replace Djibouti by another country, more stable like an all weather road. Example Kenya. b) Djibouti has no country to replace Ethiopia - Djibouti will be done in less than 4 months.

So where are you going. What is the alternative. Port Sudan it will be a logistical night mare it doesn’t have capacity and Sudan is unstable now besides u needed to invest in their port so it could meet ur demands . Relations with Eritrea is bad you couldn’t go that route before that you need to do allot of policy change make emends etc in order to give that a chance and if that worked u still have to pay the same way u pay Djibouti no such thing as free lunch. So there are no other options

It will be like Assab a paradise for camels!
Re: If Ethiopia Completely Replace Djibouti by another what would be the fate Djibouti?
Do you mean we beg you not to go either to Kenya, Somaliland or Somalia or both? It is true Djibouti is the nearest of all the existing operating ports. But if Ethiopia finds it a necessity to stop using Djibouti's port at all, it can do so, because Ethiopia has many options. The trade off will result in high return of investment - Ethiopia can accommodate the cost. Those other countries regard this a wind fall ( great opportunity) to welcome a big economic power like Ethiopia.
The loss for Djibouti is quite devastating, it cannot be a country without REVENUE from Ethiopia and fresh water , food and Khat on top of the cash.
*** Djibouti without Ethiopia is like a fish dying a dried up pond. This is very true, Zack from Eritrea. You would like to take down to hell with your Eritrea province.

Galla-agame Abere stop hullicinating, your failed state aid addicted Ethiopia can't survive half a day without the djjibouti's port. In short Djibouti controls your useless and toothless dead country. Why do you think that china is shifting it's focus to Kenya.Abere wrote: ↑27 Apr 2025, 17:10If Ethiopia Completely Replace Djibouti by another what would be the fate Djibouti?
