In most other places in Ethiopia I know only crows dine over it. በሰፊው ኢትዮጵያ ቁልቋለ አሞራ ሲበላው ነው የምናውቀው። Cactus is just a wild fruit ate up by chronically food deficit households to cope with starvation. Fighting against crows against over ripen cactus fruit and swarm of grasshopper. All this because banda Woyane jailed itself in a fake region called "Tigray"

እንደዛ ከሆነማ ከሆነማ እባብ አቀላጥፈው ጠብሰው እንደ ዶሮ ወጥ አንደኛ ደረጃ ምግባቸው የሆኑ አሉ። የውሻ ሥጋ የመንዝ ጠቦት በግ ተደርጎ የሚወስዱ አሉ - ጧ! ያለ የውሻ ሥጋ ጥብስ የሚበሉ አሉ።

Have you ever watched survival? The survivalist learn some primitive skills how people in primitive era (including fire making skill), before adoption of agriculture and sedentary settle (village) begun. Typically hunter and gather bands. The survivalist eat all sorts of wild fruits except poisonous one and insects ( including Scorpio), eat termites, rats, snakes, etc. But these are staple foods when they are back in civilization.
