"Strategic Containment"

Egyptian politicians are saying the military base they intend to establish in their "sister country" Djibouti will serve as a military logistics hub in the event of a conflict in the region to effectively subdue the bad actors.

Who are the bad actors? :P

I'm praying that a war between Egypt and Abiy Ahmed will take place at Mereja forum where YOU, Abiy Ahmed's cadres, have a significant advantage. I'm rooting for you! Go, Abere, Go! :P :P

Abiy Ahmed's Ethiopia seems to be more technologically advanced than Egypt because of the avalanche of AI generated videos (deepfakes) coming out of Ethiopia as part of the government's misinformation campaign. Egyptians have a saying that goes like:" إذا لم يشرب الرجل الفق الزبادي فإنه سيموت من حك مؤخرته", loosely translated into Amharic as: "ድሀ በህልሙ ቅቤ ባይጠጣ ኑሮ እከክ ይወረው ነበር" :P :P

What a title.

Nice try, Cartoonist Queen, There is no tensions between Djibouti and war-torn landlocked Ethiopia, However, there is an escalation of military conflict between Eritrea and war-torn Ethiopia.

When Egypt deployed 50,000 troops to Somalia, that's when it became clear that the arrival of Egyptian troops in Djibouti is not a matter of if, but when. It is unfortunate that Ethiopia's access to Djibouti's port will fall at the mercy of Egypt. :|

Shear shabiya propaganda
Somalia in teeters again. What did Egypt help? Did Egypt help avoid the assassination attempt on the life of their buddy Somali president? Nop!
Did not Somalia and the galla thugs figure out their issue to some extent? They did to squash Egyptian chest pumping.

Dj-b00ty cannot choose to self-assassinate; there may be something they want from the ethno-fascists and seeking attention. Will see how both behave. Egypt is in tenterhooks now because his Excellency P Trump wants to ensure the interest of UAS is respected in Suez canal as well as in Panama Canal. He was kind of indicating USA should use Suez Canal freely. Egypt was crying today : cry: Imagin if he pushes on that, it means Egypt will be in trouble for the multibillion-dollar gift it gets in kind and in armament free from USA. Bad too bad for Egypt butler shabiya goons that proud themselves on the manhood of Egypt  .

UAE is still holding a grudge against Djibouti for terminating its port operations contract in 2018. UAE is now using Ethiopia to attack Djibouti. :|

Ethiopia is reportedly arming an anti government rebel group in Djibouti

Djibouti security forces launched a drone attack near the Ethiopian border, killing eight members of a rebel group and an unknown number of civilians, authorities said Sunday.

“A drone attack was carried out against a terrorist group at Addorta, a Djiboutian locality some six kilometres (3.7 miles) from the border with Ethiopia,” the defense ministry stated.

“Eight terrorists were neutralised,” the ministry said. It added that “collateral damage was unfortunately reported among Djiboutian civilians” but did not give details.

The Horn of Africa state announced it had opened an investigation, adding the rebels had been engaged in “hostile actions” which constituted “a potential threat to our advanced posts.”

Ethiopian daily Addis Standard reported the drone attack took place on the Ethiopian side, which Djibouti rejected. Mohamed insisted the attack was on Djibouti territory.

When Abiy Ahmed, at the advise of his UAE masters, signed an MOU with Somaliland to use the Berbera port by leaving Djibouti, it of course angered Djibouti that felt shocked by the level of betrayals that it didn't see coming.

But Djibouti have since learnt a lesson not to trust the Ethiopian government that has proved time and time again to be an unreliable, undependable and untrustworthy partner.

To make matters worse, just because Djibouti terminated its port operations contract with the UAE, the Ethiopian government is now arming a rebel group in Djibouti to overthrow the government and destabilize the country.
