Why I think Awel Seid is a positive force

Post by eden » 27 Apr 2025, 11:05

My basic idea is simple. I think there are some forward looking people within HGDEF who see the path so far traveled is unsustainable and foolishly dangerous. I believe Awel can be a good channel for this force. If Ehiopian groups like FANO, TPLF/ TDF and OLF/OLA reciprocate positively to this, and choose to engage, this will strengthen the forward looking force within HGDEF which is great for the entire region.

If Awel’s call for engagement for peace is rejected by Ethiopians, the cycle of hate campaigns and perpetual wars continues.

We can say the same about PP. There are forward looking people within PP. But I don’t see an Awel from PP. There must be a good amount of positivity within HGDEF to allow this fresh voice of Awel Seid be heard from within Ethiopian soil. Why not accept it, promote it and make the best out of it?

There is a growing shared understanding among Ethiopians. That propensity of communal understanding is Ethiopians do not want to hear any more about OLF (PP), OLF (OLA) and TPLF(TDF). The people have awoke these are set up to divide, conquer and weaken them for the sake of their enemy. On the other hand HGDEF (Shabia),loves to talk about these and in fact used to host them. Anything coming from Eritrea is pretty much keeping the same in a different format.

The desire to keep: TPLF=OLF=EPLF is always there. But, there is nothing like getting rid of them.

Eden, the dwarf, truly oozes positivity. Had he been a bit taller, he could have been a more influential motivational speaker.
