He was so annoying when he said a lot of things during the TPLF-OPP war. I 100% took him as if he were from Tigray. When he said bury me in North Shewa, I felt he may have Amhara root (of course Shewa, especially cities, is a melting point with many ethnics intermarrying), in which case this porcupine behaved against the norm (sorry he is already dead though!). Insulting the people you rose from does not sound right. Surprisingly that kind of people have been roaming in that country for quite a while. Kasu Elala, Bereket Simon, Tamirat Layine, the wife of Zenawi, Daniel kibret, Getachew asseffa all sold the people they came from for personal gain committed/committing atrocities and almost became Tigrian or Oromuma (within the past and current ruling systems). We have many of them still serving the Oromuma Ethno-fascists. These are people living by their belly and for a position in the ruling elite.
This is not an easy thing to ignore and pass by because these are people fueling division, feeding the system, supporting war and destruction of a country many take dear to heart. They are easy prey to follow a deranged ideology and dismantle a nation. It is really shameful and immoral to betray the community someone rose from and the country someone grew up.
