No body wins food war. Eat Vegies if you can for health reason (you will have to eat a lot like cow though and make sure you get B12 supplement) and if you are carbon footprint conscious. Lots of fat meat and kitfo/bu+ter eaters just fall dead from heart disease these days in Addis. Disease pattern has changed. Otherwise, the Bible (New Testament) says, can eat anything in food market after blessing

That eating looks really unsanitary but that is what it is!

I think the one from Addis is descent and appetizing!

That is true though! Today carbs are blamed for weight by weight conscious people. Decades back the blame was on fats including eggs. And they said people focused on carb rich diet avoiding fat. Unfortunately carb easily changes to fat in the body by the action of insulin. Now everybody is back to protein and balanced fat including eggs but it is advisable to avoid animal fat including [deleted] except occasionally in favor of unsaturated fat from plants such as olive or avocado oil for coocking!
Ethio-Eritrean vegetarian diet is superb in taste and well balanced but need to make sure to meet protein need as plant based diets may lack essential amminoacids. Adding fish, kind of Pescetarian diet is ok. Lean Beef and chicken are superb mixes. If some one is into animal right issue then stick with veggie but add B12:lol:
Today people in reach countries have become oppressed with what to eat and various eating habits have evolved!
That Eti guy is astounding with his cross on the neck the beef-I called him REAL Habesha!
Those Eritreans who don’t eat like him risk ሩሁስ ጋማ
