አዲስ አበባ ፡ የወንዞች ከተማ ወይስ የከተማ ወንዞች ኮሪደር!
ፒያሳ ወንዝ
ግንፍሌ ወንዝ
ቀጨኔ ወንዝ
ቤላ ወንዝ
ቀበና ወንዝ
አቃቂ ወንዝ
የአዋሬ ወንዝ
ባምቢስ ወንዝ
ክልፌ ወንዝ
አባሲዮኒ ወንዝ
ገላግሌ ወንዝ
እነዚህ 10 ከተሞች መሰረታቸው የተፈጥሮ ወንዝ ሲሆን አሁን ላይ ካዲስ አበባ ኮሪደር ጋር ተያይዞ እነዚህ ወንዞች በሰው ሰራሽ እደሳ ሆዳቸው ሰፍቶ ድምበራቸው በግምብ ጸንቶ ዙሪያቸው በዛፍና እጸዋት አብቦ በቅርብ ግዜ ወንዞቹ ለስፖርት ዝግጁ ሲሆኑ ከባቢው ለአእዋፍ ኑሮ ክፍት ይሆናል!!! አዲስ አበባም የአበባ ብቻ ሳሆን የወንዞች ከተማ ተብላ ባፍሪካና አለም መታወቅ ትጀምራለች!!!

እነዚህ 10ና ከዚያም በላይ የሚሆኑት ወንዞች ከሰኔ እስከ ጥቅምት ብዙ የዝናብ ውሃ ሲያከማቹ ወሃቸውን ማከማቻ ገንዳና ሪዘርቭዋዎችን በመጠቀም ለከተማው ሳር፣ አበቦችና ዛፎች ማጠጫ በቂ ውሃ ማያዝ ይቻላል ። ይህን መሰል ፕላን በከተማው መሪዎች ዘንድ ይኖራል ብዬ አምናለሁ !

የምን መሽኮርመም ነው፣ ጭልፊቱ የጠራቸው ሁሉ ወደ ሌላ ሀይቅ ወይንም ትልቅ ወንዝ የሚፈሱ ወንዞች እንጂ ብቅ ብለው የሚጠልቁ ጥቃቅን ምንጮች ወይንም ጅረቶች አይደሉም።
ሆኖም ይኸ ከብት ካድሬ ድልድዬቹን ግድብ ቢላቸው አይድነቃችሁ።

ጅረት የወንዝ ታናሽ መሆኑን ሰምቼ ነበር፣ ድንበሩ የት ጋ እንደሆነ በዉል ባላዉቅም። ቦይ ግን ኪርክ (creek) አይደለም፣ ቦይ በማሳም ዉስጥ የምወጣ የዉሃ መንገድ እንጂ። የደደቦች ደደብ!

የደደቦች ሁሉ ደደብ,
you are trying to imply that the people who live there can't properly name the natural environments around them, and call the creeks and gullies around them rivers /ወንዝ (ወንዞች) (instead of calling them ቦይና ጅረት).
Or did you hear them calling Bela ቦይና/ጅረት, Aqaqi ቦይና/ጅረት etc?
I hate communicating with the most dumb of the planet!

Rivers flow through out the year. have you seen these so- called addis ababa rivers after the rainy season?
rivers ,creeks and gullies are all watercourse ,they all have banks and beds.rivers are deep and have tributaries ,technically speaking.
BTW I still have my family in bella next to Italian embassy ,but never heard them or the people around there using the term "bella river".
I am pretty sure you don't know that part of town.
Bella,kella,yesus creeks are tributaries to "Kebena river", around German Embassy you can tell the volume of water is high .
