The Chairman of Sudan's Sovereign Council, General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, arrived in Asmara in the early afternoon hours today for a working visit.
General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and his delegation, were accorded warm welcome by President Isaias Afwerki on their arrival at Asmara International Airport.
President Isaias Afwerki and General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan will discuss enhancement of bilateral ties; recent developments in the conflict in the Sudan; as well as, regional and international issues of mutual interest.
President Isaias Afwerki re-affirmed, that the support that the Government and people of Eritrea continue to extend to the brotherly people of Sudan emanates from solid principles and moral obligations. President Isaias further urged the peoples of our region to firmly stand on the side of the Sudanese people for the achievement of an enduring peaceful solution to the conflict, without the encumbrance and exacerbation of external intervention.
In a brief press statement to the Eritrean News Agency, General al-Burhan stated that his one-day working visit to Asmara was principally aimed at briefing the Eritrean leadership on recent developments of the conflict in Sudan. General Burhan, also paid tribute to the substantial and continuous support extended by the Government and people of Eritrea to the people of Sudan.

ኣብ’ቲ ኣብ ኣዳራሽ ሃገር ዝተኻየደ ርክብ፡ ፕረዚደንት ኢሳይያስን ጀነራል ኣልቡርሃንን፡ ኣብ ምምዕባል ክልተኣዊ ዝምድናታት ኤርትራን ሱዳንን፡ ግጭት ሱዳንን ምዕባለታቱን፡ ከምኡ’ውን ንክልተአን ሃገራት ዝምልከት ዞባውን ዓለማውን ጉዳያት ብዕምቈት ዘትዮም።
ፕረዚደንት ኢሳይያስ፡ መንግስትን ህዝብን ኤርትራ ንሓው ህዝቢ ሱዳን ዝገብርዎ ቀጻሊ ደገፍ፡ መትከላውን ሕልናውን ከምዝዀነ ብምርግጋጽ፡ ግጭት ሱዳን ካብ ግዳማዊ ምትእትታው ናጻ ኰይኑ ሰላማዊ ፍታሕ ንኽረክብ፡ ህዝብታት’ዚ ዞባ ኣብ ጐኒ ህዝቢ ሱዳን ደው ኢሉ ኣበርክቶኡ ክገብር ጸዊዑ።
ኣቦ-መንበር ልኡላዊ ባይቶ ሱዳን ጀነራል ዓብዱልፋታሕ ኣልቡርሃን ንኤሪና ኣብ ዝሃቦ ሓጺር ቃለ-መሕትት፡ ኣብ ኣስመራ ዝገበሮ ናይ ሓደ መዓልቲ ናይ ስራሕ ምብጻሕ፡ ብዛዕባ ምዕባለታት ግጭት ሱዳን ንመሪሕነት ኤርትራ መብርሂ ንምሃብ፣ ከምኡ’ውን ንመንግስትን ህዝብን ኤርትራ ስለ’ቲ ንህዝቢ ሱዳን ዝገብርዎ ቀጻልን ገደብ ዘይብሉን ደገፍ ምስጋና ንምቕራብ ዝዓለመ ከምዝዀነ ገሊጹ።
ኣቦ-መንበር ልኡላዊ ባይቶ ሱዳን ጀነራል ዓብዱልፋታሕ ኣልቡርሃን፡ ሎሚ ሰዓት 2፡00 ድሕሪ-ቐትሪ ኣስመራ ኣብ ዝኣተወሉ፡ ፕረዚደንት ኢሳይያስ ኣፈወርቂ ብናይ ክብሪ ሰልፊ ተቐቢልዎ።
ሰዓት 4፡30 ድሕሪ-ቐትሪ ድማ፡ ዑደቱ ዛዚሙ ብተመሳሳሊ ወግዒ ተፋንዩ።
ኣብ’ቲ ናይ ምቕባልን ምፍናውን ስነ-ስርዓት፡ ሚኒስተር ጉዳያት ወጻኢ ኣቶ ዑስማን ሳልሕ፡ ከምኡ’ውን ፈጻሚ ጉዳያት ኤምባሲ ሱዳን ኣብ ኤርትራ ቓዚ ባብክር ተረኺቦም ነይሮም።
