Had isias stepped down what around 2005 we could have called his presidency a sort of success with the little resources Eritrea had and the problems it had .I would give him a 6 a 7 at best then . Now he is just prolonging his stay just for the sake of it 35 years and counting in power controlling all aspect of life youth in their thousands leaving for places such as Middle East Ethiopia and Israel and Europe . No personal freedom . He is lucky he doesn’t have armed insurgency in the country . But the question is what will happen when he meets his maker what sort of power play will happen ,is he grooming his son abraham to be the next leader or dictator of Eritrea . Or wil something else happen . Will a new group emerge . Will there be some sort of democratic process to possibly Select a new leader . Time wil tell.
