The 10% tariffs President Trump slapped on war-torn Ethiopia, as well as the closure of USAID, is further devaluating the Ethiopian Birr, and a $1 = 300 Birr exchange rate is expected by end of the year.

In case you haven't noticed, every 4 months the IMF gives $3.4 billion dollars of loan to Ethiopia, fully aware that the country has no means of paying back its debt. This way, mounting debt takes hold of every aspect of life in the Ethiopian society where debt slavery becomes permanent, hook, line, and sinker. Debt is a new form of slavery.
