Nipsey said the culture of unprovoked violence in Ethiopia stems from self-hatred, characterized by feelings of worthlessness and hopelessness. Here's one real-life example to illustrate this concept.
When France refused to return Djibouti back to Ethiopia, it made the Ethiopians feel emasculated and insecure that they went to Somalia and Eritrea looking for someone who look like them to attack. Or as Nipsey put it, they were looking for themselves on the other side of the border, because they can't live with their miserable selves.

Having said that, how difficult is it to approach someone with a hidden gun, say hi & then suddenly shoot? We aren't talking about a fist fight, here. There's zero evidence, he begged for his life. Those who stood there with him said that he exclaimed, "you got me!" That's it.
