Magnitude of Eritrean poverty

1. Defaulted on AU annual membership fees for decades
2. It can not afford to open embassies in africa, Europe, Asia and the Americas
3. Foreign friendly nations like China send airplanes to Isu to visit them. Few other friends, if any, such as former friend Emirate and other host nations send air tickets to Isu or his official to visit them.
4. No electricity or internet even in capital town Asmara founded by its former colonizer.
Its your turn Sidacha. Refute me Tyrant Isu is a Godsend for Ethiopia to keep Eritrea poor.

Trump could not sanction tariff on goods Eritrea exports to the US. He only found Eritrean exports are refugees. He does not put tariffs on human commodities. He deprots them if they are illegal.

I saw a bunch Eritreans at Bole International Airport in November 2024 and this is what i saw : malnourished and scared Eritreans looking their surrounding not knowing where to go or what to do, most have a plastic bag. Mind you am not saying this to degrade and humiliate these people. We Ethiopians are humble and we acknowldge that we have a long way to go but comparing with Eritrea we are by far far better !!! Eritrea is DIRT --- accept that skunnis on this forum ( you know who you are )

You are repeating yourself. One statistic is enough to shut an idiot like you. Eritrea has 23 cars per 1000 Eritros, while Ethiopia has only 10 per 1000 Ethios. Now, most Ethiopian cars are in Addis which means that for 90% of the land, there is only one car per 1000. And this moron has the audcacity to pontificate.

Absolutely strange. Impoverished and tyrannized people like Eritreans die protesting injustice, poverty and absence of democratic rights in every school yard, on college campuses, military coups, etc.
They behave like they were injected with pacifying tranquilizer.

Doma, you are a dimwit. There are a million Eritreans in the Diaspora. Everyone has family members back in Eritrea with whom they regularly communicate by phone. Over 80% of Eritreans have a phone. But more important, they have food.
Remember dumbass, you come from the only country where food is sold by ጉርሻ:: The word Ethiopia, in fact, is synonymous with hunger, starvation and extreme poverty.

Tired even before they started protesting? A strange, unexplainable docility, a phenomenon unseen in the history of social movements. I just think there may be more to their passivity in the face of tyranny and intentional impoverishment of some 3 million herds.
