Remembering Ambassador Girma Asmerom— a patriot, a diplomat & a true son of Eritrea. From the battlefield to the global stage, he served with unwavering dedication & love for his country. As Eritrea’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, he stood firm in defending the country’s sovereignty & interests with clarity, wisdom, & deep patriotism. His work in diplomacy was an extension of his years in the struggle, where he fought for Eritrea’s independence with the same courage and determination.
He was not just a diplomat—he was a true son of Eritrea, loved by his people & respected for his integrity, humility, and service. And, a top flight football player.
Today, we remember him with deep respect and gratitude, honoring his lifelong commitment to Eritrea’s dignity and progress.
His legacy lives on, inspiring future generations to serve their country with the same passion and dedication.
Rest in power, Ambassador Girma Asmerom!

We used to say two thieves fight on dividing what they stole.
We are not impressed with your tank or thank in Addis by then. By that time we only knew the two of you were different was when you started fighting on how to rob Ethiopia. That was the time Zenawi a half Eritrean said I am going to kick ya out for your eye color and mass deported you. I don’t know why northern ዲቃላ behave evil on their half part of their blood. When TPLF said deport Eritreans from the south, southerners joked how do we know who is Eritrean Tigrian by language or look. So they said may be TPLF knows the difference and joked all Tigrinya speaker to move to Addis to be separated by “a metal detector” by their half Eri half Tigre Meles Zenawi. The argument being both of you wore sandals, shorts, never had shower in decades except passing through a river elephant style or through a rain, never cut your nail, never combed your hair never..never.. and all lice infested and there was no way to know who was who or whose metal was in addis up until your ar@se labeled it now!

In fact, Meles Zenawi is the father of Ascari-land.
Had Meles Zenawi been a genuine Ethiopian, he would have never "recognized Eritrea" , no matter how others did. He hooped out of his Ascari rabbit hole First; he made the generous gift of bonus, Assab of Wolo province. That is why Ethiopians unrecognize Eritrea to this date, because it was an informal thieves (bandits) agreement. Ethiopia is not in it. No body gives a damn to the fake UN. Fiaymeta and Meselo can create fake or unbinding documents in black and white looking like 800 years old
