Secretary of State Marco Rubio warned war-torn landlocked Ethiopia, he said if an agreement is not reached over operation and water flow in this year 2025, Egypt will blow up the dam.

How do we believe you?
If there is going to be arm twisting, it won’t be about the existence of the dam but how it will be operated or on the issue of other upstream future dams. Even then with exploding Ethiopian population signing any deal between Egypt the beggar and OPP will be a national security issue that will facilitate the demise of OPP further which u love to hear!

Did any one say they did not talk? No!
The question is in that first conversation, did they talk anything tangible or of policy nature?
We can guess based on our wishes but will have to wait to see if something about the talk leaks from independent source.
We know the OPP is dying to get attention of USA. They could do anything to get their attention. We hope USA will be more pragmatic and raise issue of human right abuse than GERD for Egypt.
