It was expected that heavily-indebted Ethiopia would eventually be admitted to the World Trade Organization, especially after the IMF's managing director's recent visit to Ethiopia to mandate the privatization of state-owned enterprises to help pay Ethiopia's debt to the IMF.

The World Trade Organization will facilitate the smooth transfer of Ethiopia's state-owned enterprises to foreign companies.

This is not really a good news to the Ethiopian people, but those who sell their own mothers for $1 are ecstatic about it.

It is amazing the closed mind of many Ethiopians when the gov they support is in power, they cheerlead with no info of consequences the gov acts towards its foreign connection. There is evidence WTO, lMF, WB are designed to transfer wealth from poor countries to Western globalists. I bet they follow nations like India who has been colonized for 600 years by British , still a testing ground for anything ills for globalists, should not be role model for Ethiopia or any country.
