Even if Abiy insists he wants nothing to do with the Assab port, Baba Isaias will find a way to pull him back in by the collar to reclaim it. That is the reality, and all Eritreans ought to be aware of it.

Isayas is a very old man. Eritrean people need power transition peacefully but not to his son I hope. He did a very good job with the Saudi thing. He should have done that some thirty years ago. Abbiy is just trying to survive. But, I put my money on the Amhara rebellion. The Tigrayans are formidable. Abby knows it. They have already started rocking his boat a little bit. Debre and co will not give up. OLF is dancing on his backyard. I bet you he will ask asylum possibly in the Emirati kingdom. Does his boy friend know that he is a fake Pentecostal preacher ?
