In 2007 Oromia was 30% Orthodox but we know this is not true of the oromo ethnic because 7% of the regional population was amhara
So only 23% - 25% of Oromos are Orthodox in 2007
And now one can guess only 23% down to 18% so around 20% are Orthodox that makes the number of Oromo Orthodox 9 million with nearly 30 million Amara Orthodox Christians in 2025 compromising 55% of Eotc adherents
