In West Welega
50% of the zones Orthodox adherents became Pente from 1994 to 2007

In East Welega (Horu Gudru included)
8% of the zone Orthodox adherents became Pente

In West Shewa
19% of the zones Orthodox adherents became Pente from 1994 to 2007 now Ambo may become the new Pente Capital

In Arsi Zone and East Shewa Zone due to the removal of some muslim woredas the districts have a larger Orthodox percentage

Arsi and Salale had the least decline in Orthodoxy

Olfpp, Shabia, Tplf and of course foreigners are further dividing this once unified nation. The increasing Protestant means turning the society away from their origin identity,,which is Orthodox. This shows Oromiya is preparing to disintegrate Ethiopia. The people in Oromiya are indigenous Ethiopians with Orthodox and not Oromos of Olf heavily influenced from Kenya as well as colonialism! It will be too late to unify the same peoples .

Can you imagine you become Pente to survive because Tplf and pp are impoverishing the society purposely so foreign money pouring in to convert them to Pente put to use. Govt is not there to work together with society for survival.

You are posting this as political fodder for the faint hearted.
There always are people who move from one religion to the other.
Pente going back to Orthodox and vice versa. Sometimes Muslima and Orthodox convert from one to the other. That is always there.
As far as people make a reasonable decision and move from one to the other, it is their choice. I am not sure even how you keep the statistics. Yes, evangelicals grew in number but still the dominant religions in Ethiopia are EOC and Muslim. By how much is Muslim growing, why do you focus only on pente? EOC is a Christian religion. Pente is a Christian religion. It is about what you focus on, what you worship and not is the main issue. So, there is not much to say EOC is losing or another is profiting. It should not be seen like that. As far as you practice them properly, both are Christianity.
You are trying to create a mountain from a mound. Of course, since Oromuma fascism rose, paganism specially among Oromos, Sidamas and to some extend among other ethnics increased. Also, EOC is being persecuted, especially in Oromo region, for which you guys should pay price one day.
