ETHIOPIA — Reports emerging from Tigray indicate, that an assassination attempt against a TPLF army officer in the town of Mekoni ended in tragedy.

The attack was reportedly carried out by a newly formed anti-TPLF-D youth movement known as "Hamed Mekoni," allegedly led by an individual named Redaei Halefom.

As anticipated, the ongoing TPLF split has divided the population into supporters of the two Tplf factions. If this division is not addressed promptly, it risks plunging the already war-torn region further into chaos.

Void rhetoric! How could he fail to guide his people from their primitive way of life? How could his subjects still require government documents to travel between cities?
