Now I know why Eritreans don't borrow billions of dollars from the World Bank and the IMF, and why they never purchase weapons. They have developed a habit of stealing the weapons we Ethiopians have purchased with IMF loans. We are saddled with debt, and they're armed to the teeth! That's not fair, but who can blame them?

157 out of 193 countries is not really that bad of a ranking, considering that Ethiopia has never won any war since 1896.

There will come a time (if it hasn't come yet) when people in the Horn of Africa say they had had enough of the mercenary beggars destabilizing the entire region that giving them a taste of their own medicine would solve all of their problems.
