- Born of Raya, family members but rivals
- Both ambitious to grap power & successfully penetrated & parachuted themselves to the TPLF hard core
- Getachew succeeded to be a member of TPLF executive/ central committee but Zaid failed & his frustration made him to claim he is an Amhara
- Zaid looks calculative, lier but disciplined but Alcohol lover Getachew is a go get dog that bites whoever he is told to bite .
- Both are shallow & easy going trying to use the Raya card toward achieving their political ambitions
- Zaid is a confused flying politician still looking where to land . Getachew also looks to be in a similar situation
- TPLF gave both Getachew & Zaid a responsibility that does not fit their strength & both betrayed it. Of course Getachew's betrayal goes deep to the extent of trying to uproot TPLF & its armed branch from their roots
- Getachew is expected to be member of PP & their rivalry shall continue to the future .
