Re: TIGRAY CIVIL WAR 2.0? THE HYPE CYCLE!
Horus,
you still missed the point, it is not Tigray Civil war, if there exists. The simmering conflict in the region is the outward manifestation of the war of keeping Ethiopia a landlocked country and the fight back to be free from the geographical prison. It is a conflict between the bandas and the true arbagnoch. The D-Day is approaching fast for the HoA.
Go and listen to this man, a brilliant and true patriot, even if he too was part of the TPLF structure. He seems to have drawn his lesson now.

If TPLF marches towards Addis Ababa, who's going to save Abiy and his echelons this time?

I have told you many times but you keep repeating the same old mantra again and again. The bottom line is that Abiy has no power to distribute to all power mongers. Power belongs to the people and they alone entrust it on somebody to run their affairs. Abiy can only compete for power, the bottom line.

Yes, in that you are right, I am not going to standing on the front line, my age is no more in the right range. But I can assure you, when it comes to Shabia I hope not to care about my personal comfort even if I may die just helping those fighting Shabia to protect Ethiopia. Millions of Ethiopians are ready to settle the unsettled bill with shabia, for once and for all!
Re: TIGRAY CIVIL WAR 2.0? THE HYPE CYCLE!
Dude, I never, never worried about the resilience and victory of Ethiopia. That is not my point. But war is expensive, it diverts scare resources needed for other critical national needs. And, Ethiopians do not like the nation go through wars after wars for sake each group trying to monopolize power. What does OLA needs to get some power. What does Fano need ? to get some power. what does PP needs to get some power. All of these groups all they needs is power. PP cannot rule for long by monopolizing power because Egypt and all the others are ready to use EPLF, TPLF, OLF, Fano etc to destabilize Ethiopia the price of which paid by the people. This thing has to come to an end.DefendTheTruth wrote: ↑12 Mar 2025, 15:59Don't worry about it, Ethiopians are united more than ever when it comes to protecting Ethiopia's sovereignty and freedom.Horus wrote: ↑12 Mar 2025, 15:41DDT,

Re: TIGRAY CIVIL WAR 2.0? THE HYPE CYCLE!
Woyane, as woyane, will never rise its arms against the state. It has drawn its share of the lesson. The current faction in woyane still trying to monger about war is a sell-out without any goal of its own, which it can never achieve. It has failed to even compete and win the power in Tigray. It has sold itself, a desparate action.
There are many Tigrians who supported Woyane in its recent war against the state but these people have now returned to the fold of Ethiopia, and they can never sell Ethiopia, the land of their forefathers, for the sake of an outsider, be it Egypt or its horse in the name of Shabia.
The other puppies will also learn from Woyane very soon.
Power is open for anybody trying to grab it, but there is rule of the game that everybody should abide itself by.
Ethiopia has moved never to look back: the time of touting one's guns to grab state power has also passed, never to come back. This rule is binding, woyane is a testimony for this.

Yes or no?
Yes or no answer is for idiots. To begin with your question is wrong; it is the typical ruling regime question. The legitimacy of a regime to rule is directly proportional to the amount of opposition it faces. Nature did not give you the right to rule. The right to rule or govern is a contract. If you don't have an acceptable contract, the deal is defective, period.
In other words, social power, the right to govern is a collective power and it is distributed by negotiation and transaction. If a certain section of society refuses to accept your rule or questions your legitimacy, the procedure is to enter into a new legitimacy process, negotiation, or conflict resolution. If you refuse to consider your opposition as legitimate voice, the opposition also considers your power as not legitimate. When this mutual dis-acceptance persists, the regime uses force over the opposition and the opposition raises arms. It is that simple.
The wise, the seasoned, and knowledge driven governor or ruler must always keep in mind that he/she is at the head of the government not because he is entitled to rule but he is given a temporary responsibility to administer the collective and distributed powers of the people/society.
Abiy Ahmed came to power based on a defective social contract and rigged election. You keep denying this fact at your own peril. Abiy is a transitional space holder. So where is the new constitution? where is the new federal system? etc.
There are two types of idiots on this forum. The first group are those who have no sense of what government means. A society always, always needs a government be it good or bad because a society without an organization called government falls into total chaos and destruction. So, there are those idiots who keep blindly opposing urban clean up, road building, modern farming just because they consider the regime to be illegitimate.
Then there are those your type of idiots who can not grasp what a government is and where the right of governing by a particular regime comes from. Just because a group of oromo elites came to power by defective election and political trickery, it does not means they have a legitimate authority to rule. The power of current oromuma group is exactly the same has Haile Selassie's feudal regime, Derg's military regime, Weyane's Tigray regime. Oromo regime replaced Tigray regime. Today, a true public opinion were to be collected majority of the would consider the Oromo organized PP regime as an illegitimate.

Re: TIGRAY CIVIL WAR 2.0? THE HYPE CYCLE!
Beat around the bush, typical lack of self-confidence and blabbering the whole time. There is a saying which goes like "if you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough" and you have to write a lengthy essay.Horus wrote: ↑13 Mar 2025, 13:44DDT,DefendTheTruth wrote: ↑13 Mar 2025, 08:46Horus,Horus wrote: ↑12 Mar 2025, 20:10እንግዲያው ይመችህ!
This rule is binding, woyane is a testimony for this.
please be honest for a while and answer the following simple question:
do you really believe that an attempt to grab state power in Ethiopia by means of touting one's own guns should be entertained further in Ethiopia?

The question is not about if the current government is legitimate or not, rather if in your tantrum and beating around the bushes it is okay at the principle level at least in your tiny head to try to grab state power by means of violence? Why can't you answer this simple question?
This government is not elected bla bla, without presenting an iota of evidence that it came to power by a means of illegitimate means. This is a party which decided to fight from inside of the then existing party and toppled its own party's government and came to power. People like you then kept blabbering all kinds of nonsense, without any prove, the government is illegitimate bla bla, to finally fail devastatingly. You opted to flee, they decided to stay on and fight on, which made the difference, and now they are in power, while the likes of you are still some sort of kulis somewhere else.
You were given the second chance to contest the election and take over state power, you didn't qualify yourself. Now you are a wannabe defender of all kinds of ragtag militia robbing the mass and living on that.
You are really an idiot: on one side you claim Oromo took state power and rules over Ethiopia, and then you suddenly turn around and also blabber about the ragtag shane was not given state power and their fight is legitimate to grab state power by means violence. Such a convulsed idea !

Recently, I had posted a very useful piece called Theory of Stupidity here on ER. Read it.
This is what I said above. "When this mutual dis-acceptance persists, the regime uses force over the opposition and the opposition raises arms. It is that simple." If you can't comprehend it, let me know

This is my last on this topic.

Reading Horus and DDT
DDB:
- You need some pedagogical class to design an exact correct "True/False - Y/N") question. How are yourself sure the question you designed is Yes or No? Is your universe Beshasha rural town. "
State power", stupid question as if there were state in Ethiopia and there were a legitimate leader, an agreedupon constitution. A "Yes/No" must be 100% exhustively established fact, it should not be always, sometimes, frequently. It should be known in the given universe of reality.
Horus,
Although for the most part you almost answered him in favor of "No", because the weight of the explanation resonates like that, you also wanted to blame others who are against Abiy Ahmed -Orommuma. You somehow accepted as if Abiy Ahmed is a legitimate leader for you said Addis Ababa corridor etc. should be built even if Abiy is not a legitimate leader. It is not those who oppose Abiy Ahmed are against development, but are against the intent of his project. If one clears a jungle for a military tank or a bridge for the military tank to kill people in the area, it is immoral to claim the dictator is building road or bridge for you. Abiy Ahmed is cleansing other non-Oromo Ethiopians to resettle Oromo from Bale, Arusi, Wolega, etc.
So, there is no Half-true and Half-false answer, given Abiy Ahmed does not meet the minimum threshold to be a legit leadership of Ethiopia. There is no constitution, there is no government - the Dedebit by-law is only for OLF and TPLF.
