Did you know Tigres betrayed Negus Michael of Wolo during the Shewa Segalle battle? Negus Michael of Wolo was ruling Tigray, he had many Tigre army marching with him. However, the Shewa feudal lords knew his Tigre army could betray him if they promised or bribed them. The Shewa feudal lords communicated without the knowledge of King Michael while he was almost on the verge of defeated the Shewan army. Unfortunately, the Tigres betrayed him and fought his back; and the Shewan from the front - rear and front attack sealed Negus Michael fate. Very odd, to betray ones own ruler having travelled that far/
