Such extravagant billion dollar mansions built by corrupt and coward leaders of the heavily-indebted Ethiopia are considered "national treasures" by the subjects carrying the burden of debt. In debt-ridden Ethiopia, image is everything, as it masks the underlying problems facing the people and country.
They have a saying in Ethiopia that goes like: "ሲሾም ያልበላ ሲሻር ይቆጨዋል", which glamorizes government corruption to the extent that it has become a way of life.

Hilarious!

According to Ethiopian ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Lencho Bati, PM Abiy Ahmed threatened US president Trump over a telephone in a dispute regarding recovery & review of the black box from the Ethiopian airlines plane that crashed few years back.
PM Abiy reportedly put president Trump on notice, that he is speaking with the leader of Ethiopia and thus needs to be cautious. He also reminded Trump that Ethiopia will retaliate against US, if provoked.
Such are Ethiopian ambassadors who have no shame, class, integrity or limit to their lies.
