The consequences of lack of political pluralism in Eritrea. Ethiopia disintegration

Post by Deqi-Arawit » 28 Feb 2025, 10:31

In Eritrea, the useless and alcoholic dictator is the law, and the law is the Eritrean dictator. Under the pretext that the country is under constant foreign threat, the dictator has obtained a blank check from the majority of Eritreans to do whatever he deems best for the country. Of course, there are opportunists whores and cheerleaders like Zemeslo, weizero shemaynesth and weizero Temnit in the diaspora who prioritize safeguarding their own personal interests, with no regard for the collective good. These Meshrefet/Menbedbedti attempt to paint a rosy picture of Eritrea, ignoring the harsh reality on the ground.

The boogeyman Woyane disappeared from Ethiopia’s political scene in 2018, and rightly so, Eritreans expected some form of reform—at the very least, economic reforms that would allow them to breathe, live, and manage their lives freely. However, despite years of blaming Woyane for Eritrea's woos, the dictator has made no changes. Instead, he has completely shifted his focus from Woyane and now portrays himself as an all-knowing statesman, rambling about Cold War politics, the Soviet Union, U.S. hegemony, and global affairs while deliberately ignoring Eritrea’s internal crises.

Following the 2018 rapprochement between Eritrea and Ethiopia, the useless dictator behaved like a barista (ስውኣ ዝጥዓመላ መበለት), shamelessly claiming that those who believe Eritrea and Ethiopia are separate nations simply do not understand history. Similarly, PFDJ General Secretary Alamin Mohammed declared that Eritrea’s priority was to stabilize Ethiopia and prevent its disintegration. Echoing this, Foreign Minister Osman Saleh stated: “The people of Eritrea and Ethiopia are not two different peoples; we are one.”

Today, we find ourselves back at square one. Many of Wedi Medhin Berad’s cheerleaders, including the so-called Information Minister Yemane Gebremeskel and weizero shitmeslo , are now lamenting on Twitter that the Galla have betrayed Eritrea. Other regime supporters are running amok, demonizing the sub-human Galla and his amhara supporters. Ironically, these same people once cried and accused the late midget Meles Zenawi of betrayal. Now, they are wailing, moaning and bitching the same narrative—that they have been deceived. Being fooled once may be understandable, but how does one justify being deceived twice?

Eritreans have no venue, platform, or parliament to oppose or stop the misguided and short-sighted policies of the dictator. Other than praising and admiring him, expressing any opinion that deviates from official state policy is not allowed. The regime continues to push the narrative that Eritrea is fighting the entire world, with Woyane and the CIA allegedly responsible for all its misfortunes. Meanwhile, to mask Eritrea’s grim reality, Wedi Medhin Berad qentirs boasts about 700 dams, which in reality fail to meet even the basic water needs of the surrounding villages.

Before the Agames made a desperate move to launch missiles toward Eritrea and disarm the so-called Ethiopian army soldiers, they were on their knees, begging for mercy and seeking peace with the Eritrean dictator. His Eminence advocated for accepting their request and meeting them halfway. After all, by 2018, they had been rendered toothless and irrelevant, posing no threat to anyone but themselves. However, Wedi Medhin Berad Qentirs in this forum rejected my suggestion and instead scolded me as an Agame. Thousands of Eritrean fighters lost their lives in Ethiopia while attempting to disarm Woyane and "stabilize Ethiopia," as Wedi Medhin Berad officials put it. Seven years later, to this day, the families of these fallen fighters have yet to be informed about the whereabouts of their loved ones.

Now, After what they experienced with the sub-Human Galla, What do the Low IQ say?

Although as outsider, none of my business, eritreans deserve better. Forget doomed Ethiopia that was ruined by derg, then TPLF and now Galla sh1tting on it
His majesty Isayas has to do one good to his country! Move aside; don’t stay king like the slave Robert Mugabe. Move aside like Nelson Mandela and open up the nation for business and democratization. Eritrea is a small country with more civilized people that can easily form a free society unless you suffer the poor governance and political culture of galla-land Ethiopia! If you know how to do business(I believe you have business savvy people), whoever is pillaging Ethiopia you should be able to compete with somalia and Djibouti to profit your ports!
Where is that high IQ shabiyans proud off? Don’t cook yourself in Sawa alone, be creative in every sphere. Why not manipulate the galla-land to your advantage. You don’t have ya fight all the time.

And free Eris suffering in prison including pastors and priest ( Dr Tekleab Mengisteab a physician priest included).
That would be good on all eritreans!

All this inferior IQ and wrong choices made those beyond Mereb-river and Mereb-Melash Tigres could attribute chronic childhood malnutrition. The next generation should focus on looking alternative food items in place of Cactus. Or give Ethiopia peace, she will feed you with all her riches.

Odie,

With all due respect, Eritrea will never stand on its feet as a country. Eritrea without Ethiopia is a fish without water.
These three evils (Shabia, Woyane, OLF) wanted to kill the milk-cow, Ethiopia. Now, they are paying heavy price for it. The chaos will never stop until they all are done. Changing Isaias will not change Eritrea. Chnaging Woyane by OPDO did not chnage Ethiopia. Change takes place in the mind of people. Shabia generation of Eritrea are useless. You can read them in this forum - you can see what comes out of their mouth.

I do not know when, but the solution will come from Ethiopia. We pray for that leader star to be born.

Kinda losing it because of slashed or delayed hope in that fascist Oromuma and woyane infested country. The problem with Eritreans is they culturally behave like small Ethiopia and will not go anywhere. Otherwise, even Somaliland has fared well. If they knew how to deal with the savage dictators in Ethiopia for business, politics and open up to the world for business venture, I still believe they would do a lot better than now. Until both countries change in governance, there may be no progress for them to work together. If Eritrea changes its politics and opens up for business to the world, including Ethnic ravaged Ethiopia, they have potential for progress.

Shum Agame (aka Wedi-Arayit-Quntee, aka Professor Mahyimnet),

Tariqh-hatela always leading the charge/hinfinfish of his Emeye-Agame(tigray/ethio) as usual and attacking Eritrea(ns), like his forefathers before him. Like the news cycle, every other Thursday/Friday creating fake news and half-truth misinformation for distraction of peoples focus...also tactic of the photo drama queen Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed administration of Ethiopian state.

This hodgepodge copy/paste US-AIDs template for misinformation by a want to be agent (aka Deqi-Arawit), is meant to deflect from the actual crisis in Ethiopia caused by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (& his corrupt PP governing administration). The years ongoing media misinformation campaign of the current Ethiopian administration (PM Abiy Ahmed & PP party) has now reached a frenzied pitch/level as the Ethiopian state/administration finds itself in one calamity/crisis after another of its own making. The corrupt Ethiopian state (various adminstrations) has for over 60-70 years existed on foreign aid while simultaneously trying to destabilize its neighboring countries as well as its own ethnic/regions.

The corrupt Ethiopian state was the 4th largest recipient of US-AIDs and now that the aid has been cutoff its throwing a temper tantrum in all directions...instead of learning/trying to live on its own resources & means. The absurdity is that the Ethiopian state (PM Abiy Ahmed administration) has spent hundreds of millions/billion $$dollars on superficial beautification of capital city Addis Abeba, *while waging wars on its own regions/ethnics, *while ignoring millions of starving, and *while having the audacity to beg other nations/institutions for food/development aid to foot the bill for its own corrupt mismanagement.

A wholistic analysis of the Eritrea province inherent nature more likely than not lead one to conclude [ Eritrea is a Nail on the Flesh of Ethiopia]. Eritrea province is organically (not only geographically) an integral part of proper Ethiopia. It does not mean it has no utility at all but it functions and exist being part of Ethiopia. For the last 35 years, Eritrea has been an artificiality breathing province and it will remain so until it is back to its root. Isaias Afeworki necessarily not the reason for Eritrea to decay economically and regress rather is an empty hope separating Eritrea would transform it into Singapore, but it was a wrong choice and was like cutting a flower and put into a vessel, when the water in the vessel dries up the flower dies. We all seen what happened to million Eritrean youth. There are now more Eritrean youth in Ethiopia than in Asmara. Still Ethiopia is #1 when it comes Eritrean refugee and displace population is concerned. This change would have remained the same had another Shabia (in place of Eritrea) were the president.

Again, Eritrea is a Nail on the Flesh of Ethiopia. The nail grows when nourished by the flesh.

The difference between an Eritrean and an Ethiopian is, regardless which calamity they go through, Ethiopians are free to do what ever they want. this is the difference.

7 years after the disintegration of Woyane, Eritrean youngsters are still on the trenches doing absolutely nothing . Woyane, Ethiopia, Ethiopia, crying like bitches 24/7 is not going to cut it.

Abere,
Ethiopia should not remain entangled with Eritrean issue forever. Neither for port nor to bring them to us without their will. Ethiopia had enough Exprience of both having Eritrea as a province and as a neighbor. I would not spend a single bulet on Eritrean issue. We know the two countries are pretty similar in culture or other things. But they chose a choice forced or not. How they want to coexist with Ethiopia should be determined by the needs of both countries by diplomatic or traditional means or both. Otherwise, they should be left with their choices. Ethiopia has enough trouble to solve with ethnofascism, gala and Tigre idiots! Ethiopia should solve its trouble first.

Odie,

I agree on the fact that Ethiopia should disentangle itself from Eritrea. The problem is Eritrea never wants to disentangle itself from Ethiopia.

As long as there are these three (TPLF, OLF and Shabia), it is unimaginable. You know that Shabia's plan of Eritrea is contingent upon the 100-years of homework given to Ethiopia via OLF and TPLF.

I would love to see what the world look like for Eritrea without OLF and Woyane in Ethiopia and future leader of Ethiopia not engaging any Shabia Eritrea at all. Every drumbeating from Eritrea against Ethiopia is a pretext. When I read a lot of Shabia swarming this forum, I feel they are fighting their way back to Ethiopia. Will that be good for Ethiopia with people of this Shabia rotten mentality?

__ Like you said, our # priority is how to control the Orommuma pests and Woyane mice - they are the carriers of Shabia disease.

Abere,
Ethiopia should not remain entangled with Eritrean issue forever.

Gurage listro.

Did you say Ethiopia and her riches     Are we talking about the same Ethiopia who has been the white mans burden for its entire existence?

Again Shum-agame Deqi-Arawit and other Ethiopian Professor Mahyimnets shut your mouths...and learn from this video program.

Now some of you want to disengage...that is good progress

Notice how Shum-Agame Deqi-Arawit insults all ethnic groups of Ethiopia (even at times partnering with Misraq/almaze/Abere/others to play good cop & bad cop to add more fuel/fire). He also insults ethnic groups/regions/religions of Eritrea, just like the old playbook of the Ethiopian HaileSellasssy loyalists (Shum-agame for real ) who was advised by foreign powers who put him on the throne. He even insults others as agame to hide his scent...but the hinfinfish trail leads to him and his likes.

Yes Abere,
Also the shabiya generation as you mentioned elsewhere is simply a rotten generation formed on the hate of Ethiopia, full of white lies, propoganda of marxist leninist style, downtrodden, illmannered that believes war solution for everything. That is what is expected of a cadre. They are frozen in time and place. Most are demented ex-child soldiers who only remember the past but can not process current and the future. Most annoying is that they behave as if relevant like a big country and even like superpowers at UN. They also want to connive and have upper share for nothing from their neighbors. That was their main problem with Agames. When Agames were in power in Ethiopia Shabiya wanted to exploit Ethiopia undercover together with TPLF. You know what happened after that.
The best thing untill Eritreans want it otherwise, build the border wall, quarantine them both ideologically and economically. Deport back the illegals and migrants. Ignore them fully until /ከመነዳሪው እስኪተነፍስ/ the tyre runs flat. I don’t think any good will come out from the barren land with the status quo!
