The boogeyman Woyane disappeared from Ethiopia’s political scene in 2018, and rightly so, Eritreans expected some form of reform—at the very least, economic reforms that would allow them to breathe, live, and manage their lives freely. However, despite years of blaming Woyane for Eritrea's woos, the dictator has made no changes. Instead, he has completely shifted his focus from Woyane and now portrays himself as an all-knowing statesman, rambling about Cold War politics, the Soviet Union, U.S. hegemony, and global affairs while deliberately ignoring Eritrea’s internal crises.
Following the 2018 rapprochement between Eritrea and Ethiopia, the useless dictator behaved like a barista (ስውኣ ዝጥዓመላ መበለት), shamelessly claiming that those who believe Eritrea and Ethiopia are separate nations simply do not understand history. Similarly, PFDJ General Secretary Alamin Mohammed declared that Eritrea’s priority was to stabilize Ethiopia and prevent its disintegration. Echoing this, Foreign Minister Osman Saleh stated: “The people of Eritrea and Ethiopia are not two different peoples; we are one.”
Today, we find ourselves back at square one. Many of Wedi Medhin Berad’s cheerleaders, including the so-called Information Minister Yemane Gebremeskel and weizero shitmeslo , are now lamenting on Twitter that the Galla have betrayed Eritrea. Other regime supporters are running amok, demonizing the sub-human Galla and his amhara supporters. Ironically, these same people once cried and accused the late midget Meles Zenawi of betrayal. Now, they are wailing, moaning and bitching the same narrative—that they have been deceived. Being fooled once may be understandable, but how does one justify being deceived twice?
Eritreans have no venue, platform, or parliament to oppose or stop the misguided and short-sighted policies of the dictator. Other than praising and admiring him, expressing any opinion that deviates from official state policy is not allowed. The regime continues to push the narrative that Eritrea is fighting the entire world, with Woyane and the CIA allegedly responsible for all its misfortunes. Meanwhile, to mask Eritrea’s grim reality, Wedi Medhin Berad qentirs boasts about 700 dams, which in reality fail to meet even the basic water needs of the surrounding villages.
Before the Agames made a desperate move to launch missiles toward Eritrea and disarm the so-called Ethiopian army soldiers, they were on their knees, begging for mercy and seeking peace with the Eritrean dictator. His Eminence advocated for accepting their request and meeting them halfway. After all, by 2018, they had been rendered toothless and irrelevant, posing no threat to anyone but themselves. However, Wedi Medhin Berad Qentirs in this forum rejected my suggestion and instead scolded me as an Agame. Thousands of Eritrean fighters lost their lives in Ethiopia while attempting to disarm Woyane and "stabilize Ethiopia," as Wedi Medhin Berad officials put it. Seven years later, to this day, the families of these fallen fighters have yet to be informed about the whereabouts of their loved ones.
Now, After what they experienced with the sub-Human Galla, What do the Low IQ say?
