Mortars fired into Mogadishu airport as Ethiopian PM Abiy Ahmed arrives for State visit

Suspected Al-Shabaab militants fired at least 11 mortars into Somalia's main airport on Thursday, moments before Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed arrived for an official state visit. Witnesses confirmed that the mortars were launched into Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu shortly before the Ethiopian PM's arrival, with one landing in a car park outside the main VIP terminal, where President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud received him. https://mereja.com/amharic-v3/1195
