I do not see any untold story of legend creation in Ethiopia's historiography in regards to your post. Abyssinia's powerful figures too claimed decent from King David of Israel. Why not Oromo too claim decent from pharaonic Egypt! Now that it is Oromo time of glory! This is just bringing Naga Tuma's baseless theory to reality that in a certain era in the long history of the pharaonic Egypt, there was a time when they spoke a Kushitic language, therefore those should have been Oromos.
