The Tigre language, spoken only in Eritrea and Eastern Sudan, is older than Tigrigna. It is the first child of Ge'ez. To this day, Tigrayt is what its speakers call it and Tigray means a speaker of Tigrayt. Poor Agames, even their Kilil's name is not theirs.
