Finally, the Republic of Oromiya is here! TPLF what are you waiting for?

Post by Za-Ilmaknun » 21 Feb 2025, 18:30

People may think that this is crazy, but it is the inevitable dream destiny of the current Orommuma regime. They have come to the realization that FANO isn't a force that they can whisk away as they anticipated and Oromize the country at large. Now the second option is what they seem to have come to pursue. I only hope that they don't settle for less

It is now the talk of the town in the open. The corridor façade hasn't become enough to satisfy the Orommuma elites dream of realizing the birth of the republic. They have decided to go with lightening speed and ram those who are perceived to be standing in front of the grand fascistic agenda.

Ignore the glaring facts at your own peril. The regime is desperately trying everything in its tool box to maintain the Orommuma domination to eventual disintegration of Ethiopia and birthing of the Oromiya republic. The corridor development is still underway, though.

Oromo Liberation Front (OLF) and Oromo Federalist Congress (OFC) have reached an agreement to form a “National Unity Transitional Government” in the Oromia region of Ethiopia. They have also made a territorial claims outside of Oromia region. They claim Benishangul Gumuz, Wollo ( which is in Amhara region ), the capital Addis Ababa, Moyale, Meda Wolabu and Dire Dawa are parts of Oromia.

The parties have also reached an agreement for “the inclusion of Oromo Liberation Army in the national unity government” and for its forces to be integrated Oromia region security forces.

Most of the resolutions from the four days long meeting at Elilly Hotel in Addis Ababa are reflected in the statement that OLF and OFC released on Sunday.

“The OFC and OLF work for the establishment of an Inclusive “Transitional National Unity Government of Oromia” with other major stakeholders to ensure democratic governance, self determination and expanded public services until a permanent system is established through popular mandate,” reads part of the statement OFC released after the meeting.

On the issue of Addis Ababa, which is the seat of the African Union and the Ethiopian Federal government, These Oromo parties demand for the official inclusion of the city to Oromia – and as the “capital of Oromia.”

In that regards, the OFC wrote under resolution 2 subtitled ” Resolving Boundary and Administrative Disputes,” that “The conference reaffirmed Finfinnee’s status as the rightful capital of Oromia directly answerable to Oromia state and pledged to legally reclaim all encroached territories through diplomatic and legal channels. ”

They also vowed to resolve peace and security issues in the Oromia region of Ethiopia.

The Oromo Liberation Army (OLA) has criticized the discussion between the above-mentioned Oromo political parties and the ruling prosperity party which was described as “talks.” According to OLA, the ruling party initiated the meeting with the claim that the “Northern Forces Are Consolidating.” OLA rejected that view along with the view that paints the ruling party “as the defender and government of Oromo people. “
