Democratic vs Republican Party.
I read that the great Gorbachev has been betrayed by the West. He was promised by the West against intervention in the politics of the East. I am pro democratic when it comes to domestic policies but a Republican perspective toward foreign Policies. Example, The US was very peaceful internally during President Biden administration. But the intervention in Ethiopian affairs is a good example of that. President Clinton and President Obama were very effective Presidents since they were effective in internal as well as external affairs. Off course, Putin complained a lot of intervention during the Obama years. But, Obama was dealing with Isis. Bottom line, the Ukraine vs Russia war, was not necessary at all. You don’t want to threaten a giant nemesis in his neighborhood. Joining NATO was not necessary for Ukraine. Ukraine should have exploited the West and the East economically.
