If Tigray wants to be defacto state like Somaliland, what would happen next?

My fear with this scenario is that the beggar tigreas tribe are addicted to USAID expired wheat and within a year there will be catastrophic hunger and starvation in the defacto state mini Tigray and the trump is no Biden to rescue them. Interesting times ahead
