Even though it is government led, this is unbelievably poorly managed and ugly hotel I have ever seen in Addis Ababa. Most government led services in Addis Ababa are highly standard for instance Hilton hotel, Ethiotelcom, Ethio airlines are some of them, but what happened to Ghion hotel? I have seen a lot hotels that are rated in Addis including Interluxury hotel, Gran palace hotel, Jupiter hotel and many more they are splendid. Especially Hilton hotel is amazing but its surrounding areas like the plant and walking area are poorly managed but the overall management and services are highly rated.
