Poor Zelensky will face reality, lesson to Eritrea

(Poor Ukraine trusted the Americans and the EU to wage a war against Russia. For such a simple issue, why did the Ukrainians fail to see the reality of their history and the region they live in? Instead of learning to live with their much stronger and richer historical cousins and neighbors the Russians, they chose to go to war, trusting a far away friends and allies.
This is also a lesson the Somalis never learned again and again on their conflict against Ethiopia, trusting the Arab Egyptians and the Arab Muslims will be on Somalia's side. The Somalis waged two major wars against Ethiopia, however, when Ethiopia trounced them, the Arab Muslims were nowhere to support and feed the starving and humiliated Somalis.
Let this be a lesson to my own Eritrean brothers and sisters. Lets learn to live in peace with our Ethiopian brothers and sisters before it becomes too late and to dark to see. Arab Egypt and the Arab Muslims will do anything for us to wage a war against Ethiopia, but at the end of the day, the Arabs will not come to feed our starving people, let alone to build our destroyed schools, colleges, ports, roads, waters systems and hospitals.
By the way, will Ato Meleket give his right arm to Ukraine now?)
The BBC comments on the current new reality for Ukraine and Zelensky this way:
America is under new management. Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky is joining a growing list of US allies who are finding that the world according to Donald Trump is a colder, more uncertain and potentially more dangerous place for them.
It must have been bad enough for Zelensky to hear Trump's abrupt announcement that he had welcomed Russia's President Vladimir Putin back to international diplomacy with a 90-minute phone call, to be followed by a face-to-face meeting, perhaps in Saudi Arabia.
After Putin, the White House dialled up Zelensky's number. Speaking to journalists in Ukraine the morning after, Zelensky accepted the fact that Putin received the first call, "although to be honest, it's not very pleasant".
