Neftenya settlers caused land shorrages in Gurage and the south in general

As a result of outmigration of Amara to settle in the south which Menelick liberated for them:
1. Amara is now sparsely poplulated, a mere 122 people per square km
2. In Gurage, where the neftenyas took most highland fertile lands, are 10% of the Gurage polulation, the Gurage population densiry is 441 persons per square km.
3. Hadiya: 415 person per sq.km
4. Sidamo: 690.5 persons per kmsq.km
5. Gomma: 475 persons per sq.km
