The new PHP version (ver. 8.4) has been causing a problem for the forum. It's fixed now. Sorry for the interruption.

Elias:

You shouldn’t feel sorry for the interruptions that this software update caused. It wasn’t your fault. Thank you for fixing it.

It must have given Horus a break to watch Movie Magic. Excuse me, I did it again; picking on him.

Obviously, apologising is not a Galla thing!

Saying sorry doesn't always mean something was (completely) your fault. It can also be a polite and civilised way to apologise for the inconvenience caused by something that's under your administration, even if you're not responsible for the cause of such an inconvenience.

However, Elias is the owner of this forum; thus, is somehow responsible for the running of the service uninterrupted, as it provides bored lonely retards, such as Horus, with a social interaction and a feeling of inclusion, and helps them to feel they're still part of the world. What about if Horus committed suicide feeling that his only window to the world had shut down!

Obviously, you presume yourself as civilized and capable of lecturing about it.

Within a few weeks of arriving in the U.S., I learned from a bright international student and scholar when to say sorry and when to not say sorry.

The student observed that I said sorry often and talked to me about it in good faith.

After that talk in good faith, I understood better when to feel sorry about once fault and sad about a situation caused by not one’s fault, such as a software update problem in this instance.

A study found that 88% of the British people regularly say sorry for things that aren't their fault, and that one in eight people apologise up to 20 times a day.

So true.
