Be wary of this for tourist attraction bs, whatever happens will not be for goid cause. Do not register your historical sites with unesco, it means signing off your historical sights or anything you are signing you think will benefit. It means you signed off ownership. I think Lalibela is already gone. Tiya is resting place of Misir/pharoes Egyptian queen Tiya. Egypt could have its hand on it. Egypt handed over the pyramids to global elites aka unesco. With emerging cutting age technologies, very soon it will be possible to DNA analysis of the human bones under these historical stones and we will be able to more or less accurately establish the identities, nationalities of the Tiya people and their living relatives.
In the Kistane oral history, there was a period known የሰንዳ ክርስትና ዘበን (Era of Senda Christianity). ሰንዳ (ሸንዳ) is the sword that we see engraved on those stones. It is same Senda we use to cut and process Enset presently. Senda is ሳንጃ in Amharic. As you can see, the handle of Senda is a Cross. That may be the clue to the mystery of ሰንዳ ክርስትና ።
The ancient Egyptian wooden headrest in its exact form is to be found here is the Kistane culture - it is called ጊመ (Gime, Geeme). My mother had it. በጊመው ስር ባለው ጎድጓዳ ቦታ ሙሽሮች አደስና ቅቤ ያስቀምጡበታል! እናቶች ዉፋ (raw) ቅቤ ያስቀምጡበታል፣ እናቶች አደስ ስለማይቀቡ።
በመላ ኢትዮጵያ ጊመ ያለው በጉራጌ ብቻ ነው! ለምን? ይህም እራሱን የቻለ የምርምር ጉዳይ ነው!

እኔ እድለኛው ሆረስ በ7 አመቴ በዚች የተዋበች ሜዳ ሮጬ ተጫውቼበት ኮሽም ፣ እንጆሪና አውጥ ለቅሜበታለሁ !! አንድ ቀን ይህ የተዋበ ሜዳ ውብ ከተማ ይሆናል ። ከነዚህ ድንጋዮች ሰሜን ምራብ ተራራው ስር ዝነኛዋ ጢያ ማሪያም አለች! ከሃውልቶቹ ደቡብ ምራብ ወደ ሱተንና ኬላ የሚወርደው መንገድ አለ! ድሮ ኃይለኛ የዝንጀሮች ተራራ ነው። በጢያ ማሪያም ዳገቱን ወጥተን ስንጨር እሮብ ገበያ አለ ። ከዚያ እንጀሪና ታሪካዊው አማውቴ አሉ!
