Ayatollah remains the same. He tailors his speech based on the audience expectation. He is a born opportunist. He doesn’t believe in anything that serves people’s interest ; he believes in something that serves the political interest of his. I don’t think that “something” still exists. He buried it a few years ago.

Is that what he said verbatim? Because it's more than obvious that Eritrea is independent. However, yes, they are constantly involved in Ethiopian affairs; just look at this forum where kebessan Eritreans outnumber Ethiopians. Whether they admit it or not, what occurs in Ethiopia effects them a lot and their own partially (?) Agame President Isayas has said many times that Eritrea has interests in Ethiopia.

Sadacha Macca, you are talking what Isayes has said after Eritrea’s independence. Before independence I do not think he had ever said once “Eritrea has interests in Ethiopia.” Then he was planning to create an East African Singapore, which would stay away as far as possible from the backwards Ethiopians.
I like the Isayes before independence.
