Issias Afeworki is just doing fine.
Like the rest of the Eris population, he is totally overwhelmed by anything Ethiopia and dropped everything and dreams, eats and sleep ETHIOPIA.

I want him to rule the banana republic for life. The Eris said they love him to death so let them have their wish.
Regardless of his situation that tiny nation is hopelessly destroyed. It can’t be rescued.

This clown is nothing but a mercenary with a pen, who sells lies to the US State Department.

You pay him $10,000 and he'll suddenly make a 180 degree turn and claim that the US should pay reparations to Eritrea for its illegal and unilateral economic sanctions on Eritrea.

He has been blabbering on about Eritrea and Somalia for over 20 years and hasn't achieved anything yet.

Somali man,

Isayas wastes over twenty thousand Eritrean young lives to keep the little twerp in power, with no accountability, don’t you think the Eritrean people need regime change ? He is a man that has no interest to exploit our RedSea access, he has his own agenda…off course regime change is coming,

Whether Eritrea needs a regime change is for Eritreans and not a clown who scribbles bullsh'it to the State Department to make ends meet.

Like Martin Plaut, this clown is too small to influence anyone on the Red Sea issue. Both are just working to pay their mortgages.

Martin Plaut didn't even feel any shame by saying, "I use lies as a means to an end" The fuc'ker doesn't even know that if you build your argument upon lies and fabrications, your conclusion will be nothing but also lies.

What is more abominable than lack of democracy in Eritrea is the fact that there's a large number of untried, unconvicted, and unsentenced prisoners held arbitrarily and incommunicado in Eritrean jails.

They should either be tried and convicted or simply let them free.

Organic and domestic regime change should be welcomed in Eritrea . Any foreign enforced regime change policy should be condemned because it bring nothing but chaos and destruction. And this is what most the so called opposition parties failed to grasp. If foreign powers enforce regime change, they are going to foster internal division and make the country a de facto failed state on which the central authority have neither sovereignty nor jurisdiction over the land.

I rather have wedi medhin berad ruling Eritrean than see the country descend where civil war rage.

"Rather than subject themselves to manual labor to benefit Isaias, many chose instead to flee, risking their lives to flee across the desert and Mediterranean Sea to Europe and perhaps onward to the United States. For Isaias, this is a win-win situation, for those who make it to the West send remittances home to keep his economy afloat. Eritrean embassies tax the Eritrean diaspora, even those who have renounced their citizenship."

what the writer doesn't know is there is unwritten agreement between Isayas and Eritrea's elites that so long he kept Ethiopia weak, divided and landlocked he is allowed and supported to rule until eternity. Isyas success is not measured by how the lives of Eritreans has improved (it got worse) but how Ethiopians life is destroyed and in that regard, according to them, the man gets A+!!

"It's time to think"? 😂

Isn't that the only thing he thinks about, all the time?

He keeps thinking about it because he can't find any buyer of his bullsh'it.

What he doesn't even realise is that Trump is not interested in Africa at all.

Somali man,
God bless you. It is very obvious what he is doing. He is destroying the very fabric of building a country. His misguided followers think that he is the only one who can protect Eritrea. It has been already over thirty years after independence and Abbiy looks at this and thinks he can violate Eritrean sovereignty with minimal risk . You give a person four or five years not over thirty years, if he can’t deliver you just kick him out like most democratic countries do.

Somali man,

Trump is all about himself. He loves the country, but it is all about him. But, what I like about him is, he does not interfere in third World politics. He sees Africa as a jungle not to tame it but leave it alone. He worries about financial marketsh. He is a risk taker. Is he good for Africa? Hell yes. Not on purpose. What I worry about though, race crime seems to occur more often during his term. Last time police brutality on African Americans went through the roof. That is not good at all. This time around, I hope he will be smarter on how he projects himself to the country. Isayas supporters hope that Trump would leave alone the Eritrean dictatorial regime alone. That part is good and bad. Good because, he will not allow the little twerp violate Eritrean sovereignty with minimal risk.Bad for he will not monitor Isayas dictatorial grip on the Eritrean people.
