Can Abiy be overthrown?

Post by fasil1235 » 06 Jan 2025, 04:47

1) the OLF has failed to overthrow Abiy since Jaal Maroo declared rebellion in August 6, 2018 (in Welega)

2) The Fano has failed to overthrow Abiy since april 2023

3) the Qero has become a dead skeleton movement. The oromo masses are not interested in fighting

4) to many internal enemies of Abiy are fleeing PP this weakens the chance of overthrowing Abiy

5) The silence of Lemma Mergersa has justified many of Abiys actions,,,, the fleeing of Gedu and internal PP members that oppose Abiy makes it harder to overthrow Abiy

Jawar aim to democratize Ethiopia and open the political dialogue

While Abiy seeks to feudalise the country back into fascist tyranny of Mengistu Hailemariam ... the strange thing is Abiy knows how to be 2 faced something he learned from his Agame masters

America dragged Abiy and forced him to sign the Pretoria agreement. That saved TPLF which America wanted but kept Abiy in state power. Both America wanted.... even to this day America is backing Abiy despite his failures

Western nations have constitutions that limit the power of PM... like a body of legislation, judicial and execute branches.

A one man dictatorship will always be unhealthy. As seen in Eritrea

Ethiopia should not be like Eritrea. Ethiopia must be more liberal and democratic. Isaias dictatorship in 30 years cause 35% of Eritra population to flee the country
