The the level of water in streams or the tributaries constantly changes throughout the year. When the level of water in the main stream goes down, Egyptian Air Force can demolish the dam beyond repair without creating havoc to the low land countries. That perhaps is coming.

The dam will have 70 billion + CM water but the turbines use a fraction of it during the dry season and still it will have enough water( including the regular flow from the Abay river) to flood Khartoum and Cairo!
