The Protestant devil abiy is busy trying to destroy this truth by burning churches, killing the holy saints, monks, and the followers. But who can defeat God?
Ethiopia, the land of God!
A few fundamental points here.
The narrator asserts: “While the Bible has been a cornerstone of western civilization for centuries…”
In short, this is misleading on different levels.
What used to be called Classical Civilization was lectured for a long time to be the foundation of what was known as western civilization.
It has been settled by a documentary funded by the National Science Foundation of the U.S. that Classical Civilization was born after it borrowed ideas from elsewhere.
Pharaoh Akhenaten lived before Goddess Athena by about 500 years.
Martin Bernal’s book is titled Black Athena.
Archimedes, one of the greatest scientists of all time, lived more than two centuries BCE.
Galileo Galilei, another great scientist, lived in the 17th century AD.
Think about it now. The time between when Archimedes and Galileo lived is about 19 centuries. That is nearly two millennia.
Europe’s Dark Age was in between when Archimedes and Galileo lived.
Archimedes’ scientific works were uncovered during Europe’s enlightenment movement.
That movement gave birth to what I now call Renaissance 1.0.
In short, Renaissance was an enlightened departure from superstition. The earliest recorded departure from superstition that I read about was by Arkamani. He was a contemporary of Archimedes.
Such departures don’t come easily even though many can say renaissances very expediently these days while saying refrain from discussing about religion is their forte.
Do the current Pope who authored Laudato Si and this narrator not know about these fundamental points?
On a positive note, this narrative opens a new window to interpret spirituality more deeply. That could lead to a more comprehensive and a more potent Renaissance 2.0.
